Last night got a little crazy around here. My friend Andy came over and we started smoking stogies. I had one Jucy Lucy — by Drew Estate — left in the humidor so I decided to smoke that. All Drew Estate’s Natural line of cigars smell wonderful, but the Jucy Lucy has […]

After work yesterday, I lit up a Jose L. Piedra a friend of mine brought back from Spain. It’s the frist Cuban cigar I’ve smoked. I thought it was decent. The flavor was good and it was nice and smooth. The draw was a little tight, but other than that, I […]

A proposed bill in New Jersey would would create a car smoking law. This would mean no more enjoying cigars while driving in that state. However, like the ban on hand-held cellphone use while driving it is unexpected to be enforced.

Yesterday Andrew and I ended up opening the tin of Tatiana Honey flavored cigars. We both agreed that it sure wasn’t the best cigar we have ever smoked, but it was still pretty decent. A couple of my dislikes were its small size along with how bitter it became after smoking about half […]

Yesterday, after a long tiresome night of work, I sat out on my front porch and smoked a La Vieja Habana in the moonlight. It was a good smoke and lasted for about an hour. As non-expensive cigars go, this one is a winner hands down. Not to harsh, great draw, and […]

We just recieved our order of 50 flavored cigars. The order included 5 tins: Tatiana, Kahlua, Havana Honeys, Leon Jimenes, and CAO Earth Nectars. I’ve tried them all except the Tatianas.
I really didn’t know what to expect when I saw the tin of Leon Jimenes. They’re Caffe Macchiato flavored with […]

Jason will now be adding posts to the Cigar Blog. He started smoking cigars just about the same time as me.

I am starting to add informational pages on Cigar Blogger’s front page. You can see them here. Examples include this page about Acid Cigars.
More updates are on there way. I’ve been scanning all of my cigar bands. They should be uploaded within the next few days.

Instead of detailed reviews I’m just going to rate the cigars from my last sampler packs I’ve ordered. Note, I haven’t been able to smoke all of them because I shared some with my friends.
Instead of using numbers I have my own rating system. Here it goes:
Must smoke
Smoke when you get around to it
Don’t smoke
Its […]

I haven’t been posting a lot lately. In fact, I only managed 3 cigar blog posts last month — at the very beginning!
Between being very busy and smoking way too many cigars I just haven’t had time to write. I’ve smoked every single cigar in that last sampler pack I posted about in June […]
