Spain is a must if one loves/would like to go Europe and especially for the U.S. contraband connoisseur. Cohibas (the Esplendido and Robusto especially) and Hoyos (Doble Corona)0 are the "duh" choices, but Partagas, H. Upmann and Romeo y Julieta have some good choices. In my opinion, stick with the larger cigars - your Julietas, Doble Coronas, and Churchills, or your figurados, because they put more workmanship and quality tobacco into them. Habanos can be very special, but I've found them less reliable than trusted Dominican and Honduran brands, etc. The larger ones from "flagship" brands and most coveted types are the most reliable. Punch Punch is a great choice as well. If you land in Spain, be sure to check out fine Cuban rum - better than Bicardi and anything this side of premium Barbados stock, in my opinion - premium absinthes (no hallucinations, sorry! but a nice clear, euphoric buzz), and Spanish and Port wines.
